The Megger (655531) Model 531 Coaxial time domain reflectometer conveniently analyzes cable and locates shorts, opens, high resistance taps, wet taps, impedance mismatch along the transmission line, attenuation loss, return loss and cable damage on coaxial cable systems. The Megger Model 531 (655531) has been designed to ensure proper performance in a wide range of harsh field conditions. Local loop coax cable system are constructed of relatively short cable runs [less than 1,000 feet (303 m)] therefore, the Model 531 (655521) offers resolution of less than 1 inch (25 mm) to allow viewing of all activity along a short cable span. The (655531) Model 531 provides test documentation through 15 internal memory registers. Test results can be stored or be recalled for future analysis. An RS-232 interface also provides interfacing to either a personal computer or printer. |
